New reclaimed water legislation has passed in Colorado

HB18-1093 – Reclaimed Water Use for Edible Crops (Passed in House and Senate, no Governor signature, will become law 90 days after the end of the legislative session). This bill will allow for food crop irrigation using reuse water, be that residential gardens or small or large scale agriculture. HB18-1069 – Reclaimed Water Use for Toilet Flushing (Passed in House and Senate, signed by Governor). This bill will allow for using reuse water for toilet and urinal flushing. CDPHE is required to recategorize or develop appropriate water quality standards by December 31, 2019.  https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/hb18-1069
