New RMWEA Associate Member class:
During the RMWEA/RMSAWWA Annual Conference held at Jackson Lake Lodge in Moran, Wyoming on September 15, 1999, the Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association members in attendance voted on and approved various bylaw amendments. One such change was to add a new RMWEA Associate Member class. Any individual who is professionally engaged or interested in the advancement of knowledge relating to the objectives of the RMWEA is eligible to apply. Associate members shall have all the rights and privileges of an Active Member, except for holding Federation (WEF) or Association (RMWEA) office. Membership in WEF shall not be a requirement for the Associate Member class.

The Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association will be the leading organization of dedicated and knowledgeable professionals collectively working together to preserve and enhance the watershed environments originating in the states of Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico. The Association will have adequate finances and resources to accomplish its mission.
