2007 RMSAWWA/RMWEA Conference
 
CALL FOR PAPERS!!

 
The 2007 RMSAWWA/RMWEA annual conference will be held in Keystone, Colorado at the beautiful and spacious Keystone Resort and Conference Center.  Starting this year, a new format for submitting abstracts for technical papers will be followed. 
 
New Format for Submitting Abstracts - All authors are asked to submit a mini-abstract of 150 words or less that will be published in the conference proceedings if the paper is selected.  For more information and to submit abstracts on-line, visit RMWEA website Abstracts are due by March 16, 2007!

LOCAL CONFERENCES
 

 

RMWEA Professional Wastewater Operators Committee is looking for potential speakers for upcoming seminars: February 22nd, 2007 - Red and Jerry's seminar in Sheridan, Colorado and April 11th, 2007 - seminar in Pueblo. Looking for 45-60 minutes presentation related to wastewater industry. If you are interested please send e-mail to Edyta Stec-Uddin or Greg Farmer.
 
Get ready for the 2007 Rocky Mountain Water and Wastewater Plant Operator's School at Boulder, CO.  Fundamentals School will be held January 22-26 and the Intermediate and Advanced School will be held March 26-30.  Go to website for course and registration information.
MISCELLANEOUS
 
Internet based class sponsored by Casper Community College - Wastewater Treatment Plant Operation I - Tuesday, January 16, 2007.  This class is an introduction to the basics of wastewater plant operation and maintenance. Registration deadline January 10th. Class is good for wastewater licenses and worth 48 contact hours. Visit the Casper website for more details.

The five-day basic AWWA Water Utility Management Institute will be presented in Salt Lake City, Utah from Jan. 22-26 and from Feb. 26-March 2, 2007.  All sessions will be held at the Comfort Suites Hotel (near the airport).
